Welcome to the 2025 Living With Courage (LWC) 42 STRONG Challenge!
This is a 42-day health challenge designed to give you all the tools you need to create healthy habits for life. At its core it’s an accountability program where we, as a community, work together to add positive daily activities to your routine so that you can become healthier, fitter and happier.
What is 42 strong?
For 42 days we commit to FOUR (4) daily healthy tasks, with an additional one-three (1-3) personally chosen tasks. There will be a weekly group challenge along with some daily "extra credit" points of focus. But the below four are the main "requirements".
Suggestions For "Personal Habits":
Part of the program is for YOU to pick 1-3 additional tasks to do daily. While it's completely up to you what you do, here are a few options if you're looking for inspiration
Weekly Challenges:
Starting day and and then every week after there will be a "weekly challenge". If you perform the required tasks you'll earn a POAP (a free to mint NFT celebrating an event, I like to claim it stand for Proof Of Actual Participation) and earn points towards a final drawing of some pretty cool prizes (cash, a VF2 VeeFriends NFT, slabbed VeeFriends cards and more!). Challenges will be anything from "10 push ups daily for the week", 5 minutes grounding dally for the week", "daily gratitude posts for a week" etc.
POINTS:
Each day you'll fill in how you did for yesterdays main 4. And each week I'll assess who did the challenges and add points accordingly. There will be a max points per day, and the people with the most points at the end of the challenge will be entered into the drawing for all the prizes!
Example:
30+ minutes of exercise = 1 point
Drank required amount of water = 1 point
Followed nutrition plan = 1 point
Did the weekly nutritional focus that day = 1 point per day
Walked 10k steps = 3 points (4k would be 1 point, 7500 would be 2, and 12500+ would be 4)
Extra points will be either daily for a week, or just once at the end of the week depending on what the challenge is.

Fitness / Nutrition Programming:
You will receive a daily email every morning of the challenge with motivation, thoughts on health/fitness, details on the day/week, and a workout. I will also be posting up what I do day to day for full transparency. In addition I am offering custom workout plans and nutrition plans to everyone at a discount.
- Be Physically Active for *at least* 30 minutes every single day. This can be active stretching, yoga, pilates, walking, strength training, crossfit, weightlifting, running, biking, swimming, anything! Whatever it is it must be INTENTIONAL ACTIVITY. While I STRONGLY suggest you do 30 minute straight, it’s totally cool if it ends up being broken up into shorter sessions. If you are lost here and need a program, I will be sending a workout to every day to everyone registered and I'll also have custom program designs offered at a discount to everyone.
- Follow a Nutrition Program. While I personally promote a specific way of eating, I know there are countless approaches that work. So for this program the only requirement is that you follow a set plan the entire time and there will be weekly "focuses" for the entire group to try to achieve. I strongly suggest that you track your food too (My Fitness Pal is a great app for this). Just like the workouts, I am offering nutrition coaching at a very discounted rate for anyone who wants it. Either way, I'll be posting a LOT about nutrition, meal prep, approaches, and so on throughout the challenge as this is the one area most people struggle with the most.
- Drink Your Body Weight (in KG) in Ounces Daily. This ends up being around half your body weight in pounds. So if you weigh 175lbs (80kg) you would drink AT LEAST 80oz of water every day. For any of you that struggle with this, I’ll have plenty of helpful tips to keep this up!
- Daily Step Goals. This can of course tie in to your daily activity but there will be 4 tiers to this that will allow you to earn points (points system explained below). Base level will be 4k steps, then 7500, then 10k, then 12500+. This means everyone is asked to walk AT LEAST 4k steps every single day of this challenge.
Suggestions For "Personal Habits":

- Spend at least 30 minutes outside every day
- 2-5 minute cold shower or cold immersion every day (I will explain more around the start of the challenge how both cold immersion and heat (sauna) benefits health so so much)
- 5 minute supported squat hold daily (this could also be part of your activity for the day as it's intentional "movement"
- 5 minutes of focused breath work
- 15 minutes of reading daily (this can and probably should be part of your better sleep habits!)
- 5 minutes of "grounding" daily (bare feet on Mother Earth, so so good for you!)
- No caffeine (as mentioned above, it's not a requirement, but worth taking out to practice control over potential dependence)
- No alcohol (I know for many this would b tough, but it would also be life changing for the better!)
- Many more options here and we can talk about them as the program ramps up and even at the start of the program
